The quality of our products:

For many years now we have been working with several major German manufacturers, and we are constantly having the technical characteristics of our mesh panels documented for us:

  • Type of coating (90-95% zinc / 5-10% aluminium)
  • Coating weight: (>275 g/m²)
  • Salt spray test according to DIN EN ISO 9227 (>1,000 hours)
  • Tensile strength of the wire (>450 N/mm²)
  • Shear strength of the weld spots (>75% of the tensile strength of the wire).

To check our suppliers, we have independent testing laboratories conduct quality tests at irregular intervals.

Satisfying or exceeding the tested criteria, particularly those pertaining to the strength of the wire and weld spots, is the basis for producing baskets of lasting stability, and it is what makes our quality German-made products clearly distinct from many a product imported from Asia.

Salt spray test

The salt spray test according to DIN EN ISO 9227 serves as a criterion for the weather resistance of a metal coating:

  1. for a given alloy
in this case: 90-95% zinc + 5-10% aluminium
  2. for a given coating weight
    in this case: >275 g/m²
  3. Result: 1,000 hours (as comparative value)

So if a product satisfies values a.) and b.),
then quality criterion c.) applies.

We always have criteria a.), b.) and c.) documented.

To check our suppliers, we have criteria a.) and b.), and therefore c.) as well,
tested at irregular intervals by independent testing laboratories.

We have the following tested in addition:

  1. The tensile strength of the wire
  2. The shear strength of the weld spots

The strength tests are the basis for producing baskets of lasting
stability, and they are what make our quality products made in Germany
clearly distinct from many a product imported from Asia.
