    Would you like to secure your narrow and tall gabions from tipping over? Our practical fence posts will help you to safely set up and stabilise your gabions.
    These posts, made of 2 mm thick hot-dip galvanised square tube, can be used as an anchoring element to prevent tipping.
    They have a cross section of 4 cm x 4 cm and so can be used particularly well for our gabions with a mesh of 5 cm x 5 cm.
    The top end has a plastic cap and the lower end is open.

    The length of the required fence post depends on the size of the gabions and the local ground conditions.
    The post to choose is one that can be set in concrete to about 60 - 80 cm, so in the frost-proof area.
    Now the length of the visible post should be at least two thirds of the gabion's height.

    After you have set your post in concrete to the appropriate depth, place the gabion over the post. Do you already have a foundation?
    Alternatively, you can also anchor the fence posts onto your existing foundation using our matching post shoes.
    The basket does not have to be attached to the post. Filling with stones covers and wedges the posts, preventing the gabion from tipping over.

    We recommend at least one post per running metre. Insert at least two posts for individual elements.
